This is my log for the week, to report how well I did on my running slash dietary improvements. Basically the idea is that if I don't do my running, I'm accountable and will be horribly embarassed. Plus you'll know how fat I really am. Ha!
So here it is. First week, Mon-Sun.
Tuesday, walked two miles in the morning, ran 3 at night.
Thursday, ran 4, got a good speed workout doing 100 yard strides, 5 repeats.
Saturday, ran 3.
Sunday walked 1.5 (I was with my wife, and she crapped out early so I headed back with her)
Overall? Ran 10, walked 3.5. Missed my Sunday long run though (only 5 miles right now) so I'll be making it up about 18 hours late this afternoon. Meh. Diet? Better but not great. I only had cokes with sugar in them about three days this week. I'm going to try to do all diet this week and see if I can eat out no more than once maximum.
End results, I'm down from 193.5 to 190.5, and my middle is a whole quarter inch thinner. Woot. Twenty or so lbs to go. Let it go for about a month, and we'll know how I'm really doing. However I am feeling okay when I'm running, so maybe it won't take as long to hit top condition again. Ciao, I'm going to the bank and the utilities office, then I'm off to make up what I owe.
