What the hell.

Now that I'm starting my run cycle again, I've been looking around for a short race to do. Well, I found one. There's a five mile "turkey trot" sponsered by Austin's Thundercloud Subs.

What I'm wondering, is out of all you bloggers (many of which live in texas), is there anyone that wants to go run with me? It's on the 24th, (thanksgiving, no less), but wouldn't ya rather know that you're losing weight instead of gaining it over the holidays?

I know it's nuts, but I'm game if you are. (I've been wantin' to meet some of ya'll for a while anyways.)

I'm doing my first 5k this Saturday.

I can't come to Austin on Thanksgiving because of family obligations and the fact that I will be partying before, during and after the Staind concert the night before. Have fun though.

Maybe we'll meet at some other Texas race. I'm thinking maybe I could be in shape to do the Half Cowtown Marathon in 2006. That's a goal of mine anyway.

i know you think 5Ks are for pansies, but i'm doing the turkey trot in killeen on the 19th. dude, you totally have a good shot at smoking the competition. plus, last year, hooters provided chicken wings for the after-run food. it's a lot closer than austin, too. just think of it as a 3.1 mile workout. it's at long branch park 0800.

Not this year, just starting up again at about 15-20 a week. (I'm waiting to see how it goes, then I'll know how much I can do.)

Totally lost it after the legionnaire's thing. I've dropped a few lbs so far, and I'm hoping to be back in some kind of condition in time for the Freescale again in February. It might work, dunno, supposed to be in dallas on the 20th (my birthday!)
