Hello to all you sportsfans out there in JU land. Today I want you all to be like the proverbial midget at the urinal........you're gonna have to keep on your toes.

My question to you is, what is it that you blog about on a regular basis, but get no responses? We all know that you can points-whore by posting about religion, or politics, or just by bashing the crap out of someone. But what is it that floats your boat, that nobody seems to care about?

Me? I know what I love, but if I post about it, I know damned well nobody will respond. Old cars, running, metal casting, etc. Now I know for a fact, that none of you respond because I'm simply so cool, (no, really!) that I intimidate you into not commenting, but if you didn't know that, it might seem that I was obsessed with things that nobody really had much of an interest or opinion on outside of, okay, that's kind of neat.

Okay, so I know that, and I'm okay with it. But I like to blog about those things anyway, and occasionaly points-whore or throw something funny out there. What massively ignored subjects do you love to blog about? Come on, give me your worst.

Hahaha...I don't get a huge amount of replies on anything I write. Least popular are the retarded family ones I write about things that happen that I think are funny or noteworthy, but apparently are only funny or noteworthy to me. Hehe.

I think my least successful blog ever was one I wrote on the benefits of breastfeeding. I put a fair amount of research into it, and I got one comment. I had previously written a breastfeeding article of the opinion sort that got a ton of traffic.

*scratches head*

So, does that mean boobies = good topic or boobies = bad topic?

Hehe.

But hey, I comment on most of your stuff. I like your odd brand of humor, hehe. I don't always understand your hobbies, but I'll comment anyways, haha, just cause I like ya.

Bicycling and life in general. Boring stuff for most I suppose.

boobies are always a good topic!

As far as blogs that get little response......Hmmmm most everything I write, some get lots of view but few or no comments, such as the ones on skinning.....

I like them, especially the ones with pictures.

Ummm, see above comment?

awwww shucks miss kitty.........{blush}

Beats the alternative. Biking gets me a little, but mostly 'cause I'd thought about triathlons.

self-discovery

Fair enough, I try to stay away from it, mostly 'cause I frequently don't feel well about myself.

such as the ones on skinning.....

Like squirrel? Or rabbit? Seriously, I find it's interesting, but mostly far, far beyond my ability to understand. The last time I was computer literate, I programmed in Fortran and QBasic. Nowadays I'm pretty much a point and click kind of guy.

More, give me more......I know you're out there.

I have yet to figure out the common denominator between articles that will get lots of comments and those that don't. subject, humor, inflamatory statements, class... whatever. There are articles that, while I'm writing them, I can imagine what specific bloggers will say in response. In some cases I'm right, but in others, I was completely wrong. Even more wrong because, instead of missing the mark on how they would react, I got no reaction whatsoever... from anyone.

However, I think I'm finally past the whole, "comments mean everything" phase. I think we all go through it at one time or another... who knows, if we do it long enough we might even go through it again. ;~D

Actually, Politics mostly.  Or life's ironies.  Some get comments, some just wither away.  I write about what I like, and dont worry about the comments.
