Wallah! My new series of articles as I prepare to exit the army. Some will remember the League, and the zombie deer articles, and won't be terribly surprised.
Day 104.
1. Asked for the return of my on post driving privileges.
2. Studied Charles Whitman online as preperatory research, just in case of further stoploss.
Link
3. Sold my soul to rock and roll as my sergeant-major assures us we'll be desperate for money upon leaving the Army.
To continue on day 103...........

LOL actually I was referring to being short in the military sense of approaching the end of your tour of enlistment. Maybe you young guys don't use that term any more?

I could make a list, but the length would push everything else off my front page. Suffice it to say I dislike unlike any prior job, I dislike almost everything about what I do. I'm proud to have served, now I've done my time and then some. I just want out. Perhaps later I'll write a bitterly humerous list on the other stuff.
Also, I'd like to stay married. The divorce rate in the army is over 85%. Having been seperated from my wife (by the Army) for a third of my Army career, moving constantly, new house, new jobs, et cetera, I can certainly see why.
