As promised, nothing special. This is my fiftieth article, and rather than some zany post, political rant, or discussion of one of my obsessions, (running for example,) just a quick update of my family and my life, semi-newsletterish. Crazy huh? Almost like an online biographical log or something........plus I'm tired of seeing my last rant at the top of the page.

First of all, I rented out my house in San Angelo, Tx. It was bought at a time when I was supposed to be getting out a month ago.....whoops, there goes stoploss. I'd tried to sell it, but had been sucking on the mortgage for the last six months. Now I've a friend doing training down there for the next year, so he needed a place to stay. Hooray, now I'm not short 600 a month.

Fixed a friends car this weekend............and cleaned up the garage, the house, dyed my boots, (alas they are dead now, story at a later date.....) went shopping, got a haircut, cooked, ate out, went to church, decorated for halloween(you should see my orange icicle lights........wow!!!!), et cetera ad nauseum.

Found out I'm going to finally get the title on the 67 MG (british made convertible sportscar, sweet!!!!) I was given while delivering a pizza. (second job, at least before we got busy.....) Finally started running again after my injury, still two slow weeks to go, but ran with no pain today........we'll see if it lasts in the morning.

Work's going great, no, I can't tell you, shuuuuussshhhh.....it's a secret. Suffice it to say that I'm doing my job well, (and enjoying it for an extreme change, especially since I so rarely get to actually do the profession I was trained for), the leadership is running smooth (a very rare event in the army,) and although we're working a lot of days, six months ago we were looking at double the hours, and instead we're working less, with pt in the afternoons instead of freezing our butts off at 4 or 5:30 in the morning.

Life's good, praise be to God. My bulemic, butt rubbing on the carpet, psychotic cat has been reletively good. I love my wife very, very much. She is good to me. I've got to go walking with her now, and then work on the breaks on the minivan for awhile. (Did you get enough parenthesis?.......or........s?) Normal insane rhetoric and bizzare animal life will continue as usual in the following posts. Film at eleven. Thank you.

Nothing Special, just enjoing life, and thanking God for my blessings,
Spc. Nobody Special

Very nice post. Even if it's 'nothing special'... pffft... Sounds like something to me! Nice update. Hope things continue to go well for you. Congrats on the big 5-0!

Amazing huh?

PSB even squared me away today for the SFC board. (Even if it did take 3+ hours and me correcting the SPC's spelling)

It is good see something positive once in awhile. We all have our Jekyll and Hyde days. When things go well we are so sweet but when we don't get our way, out comes Hyde from hiding. Wouldn't the world be great if we could maintain our peace in the middle of storms? Many people think it is inevitable to be a jerk some of the time.We insist we just can't help getting mad, sad or whatever. If the pastor should just happen to be at the door during one of our "out-of -it" moments, we could change in a hurry. So it can be done.

Keep on loving through thick and thin.
And keep writing. Congratulations on 50 blogs.
