I'm still playing with my new toy. Monster pod. It's my first real mp3 player. Shhh. Don't tell anyone.

Roar.

So far, I've been uploading songs from my CD collection all week, and I'm up to about 2 days and change worth of music and used up maybe a whopping 3 percent of it's 80 gig capacity. It's seriously cutting into my knitting. But.......another 90 albums or so and I'm good. Unless........

It'll do books, videos, photos, the works. The only problem is, all the extra electronics and fun type crap has to go out Monday for deployment, and I don't think I could fit a quarter of my movies on it. Meh. Time to pick and choose. Or pack and choose. Whatever.

Also haven't arranged any playlists yet. Not even really sure how. Mostly just concentrating on loading it. Any suggestions on how to play with it?

Of course, I told my techno geek friend about it, and he just laughed and told me about his 500 gig external hard drive that he's taking. Sigh...................Remind me later, I finally figured out how to post pictures, and I've got a crap load; my cats, me knitting, the trebuchet.......good stuff.

Don't tell anyone but I still haven't purchased an mp3 player. Just never saw the need.

An 80G capacity might store a couple of movies at best unless they're pretty shorts ones.

One up your buddy and pick yourself up a nice terrabyte drive.

Nah, you could safely put almost a dozen on there and still have room for some audio files...a DVD's "only" 4.7 GB, and rarely all of that is filled.

But, I second you on this statement:

One up your buddy and pick yourself up a nice terrabyte drive.

I'll even let you ship it to my house for safekeeping, SPC...lol!
