Short update. For all three people still reading me.......

Got to Ft. Huachuca last week. S' not a bad drive, about 2400 miles. It's been more than a little strange. Pretty damned chaotic. Of course it doesn't help that the company is almost as big as two battallions..........

It's about a hundred and umpteen outside, but this isn't a problem so much as coming up about 5000 feet in altitude. Can't breathe!!! (especially not when you're dumb enough to try 8 mile runs your first couple of days here...........yeah.)

The good news is, there's such a backlog of students, I may not start class for six months, so I may be around to run the P.F. Chang Rock N' Roll Marathon. The bad news is, I may not start class for six months, I may be around to run the P.F. Chang Rock N' Roll Marathon. In the meantime, I may be working in the language lab........(snicker, for those of you that know my mad Korean skills.)

Why wouldn't they let me change languages again? Oh yeah, it was going to eat up to much of my remaining contract..............sigh.

I've also run into a bunch of Korean Golfs reclassing, including SFC Coastliney, and my old chaplain from DLI seven years ago........

More news, and hopefully my wife to follow soon,
NBS

Hmm. I think I'm probably not supposed to drop by and say hello while I'm there for BNCOC Phase I in September.

Six months till your start date means you get to experience a wonderufl Arizona winter. It actually rains, once in a while. You may forget, I'm from Arizona and am still a big fan.

SFC Coastliney!? What is that puker doing out at Huachuca? (Took me a minute to figure out, but now I got it! )

It is actually raining today. Drops the size of Volvos. It went from about 90 at PT, up to about 105ish, then Bam, down to maybe 80.

Nothing at the moment. Eventually taking the course for 97E. I don't know when, maybe September. 280 people or so in the company waiting to get in, and I've got last priority. Yay!!!

There are worse things. At least that's almost predictable.

And there are worse places to be.

And does this count against your current contract? Even if it doesn't, it counts towards your total time in service, which affects your pay... but I'm staying in as long as they let me, so that might be different from what you're looking at.
