Just checked CNN, so far, the polls are showing Bush ahead, 56% to 44% of the popular vote, and 102 to 77of the electoral votes. He seems to be doing well, but it's early yet, and last year we didn't know for sure for awhile with florida, wait and see.......

Current polls don't count, because in case you haven't realized they are all down the line 2000 not even close state elections. According to CNN exit polls, florida may well go to Bush, but it is by a .1% margin and Nader is a spoiler again.

Bush is up by 5% in Fla with 88% reporting and up in Ohio by 6% withh 44% reporting and way up (around 10%) in both Michigan and Wisconsin

Yeah, well, we'll see how close it is when all of the absentee ballots have been counted (many of them military), although I've heard they may not all be counted until sometime Thursday...................

Bush is not going to need them. He's still up by 5% in Fla with 94% of the precincts reporting
